How this one is made
A field of angles is built by summing four sine waves at different frequencies and phases. Several hundred particles are dropped on a jittered grid and each one walks the field, turning to follow the local angle, until it leaves the frame. Nothing is drawn except the paths they took.
Reproduce it
This plate is seed 20260824 through the flow field generator. The raw file is at /plate/drift.svg. Change the seed to see the same method produce something else:
